The level of feed efficiency has influence to the
successes of cattle feedlot business. Feed that is utilized in cattles feedlot
consisting of concentrate and roughage. Concentrate and roughage should be
given in exact proportion. The purpose of this research was to determine the
optimum proportion of roughage and concentrate diets which give the highest
performance of Sumba Ongole’s bull during feedlot fattening. The parameters
observed consisted of average daily consumption, final wight, average daily gain,
feed conversion ratio, the thickness of anal fat, and thorax circular length.
The carcass productivity was determined by hot carcass weight and carcass
percentage. The results indicated that feeding application on Sumba Ongole's
bull with roughage and concentrate in different ratio didnot influence to final
weight, average daily gain, thorax circular length and thickness of anal fat;
but influence the fhot carcass weight and carcass percentage. Feed that gave
with combination of roughage and consentrate what does have to assess
effectiveness at the best bases conversion to average's day growth is feed with
proportion of roughage is more a lot of (as conduct P3), but resulting lower
hot carcass weight and carcass percentage.
